The opening scene of this film introduces the credits in the form of a giant family tree. This is directly connected to the narrative, which focuses on the surprising origins of two fathers who are brought together through the marriage of their children. As if to introduce the rivalry between the two families, the opening sequence begins with two bottles bearing the emblems of each family, before moving on to close-up shots of each branch of the tree. The family members appear one by one and ultimately come together as a whole within this now united extended family.
