The film is à propos French drone pilots who hunt terrorists in Mali. The idea was to introduce the war in Mali and the situation of the french army in this conflict. We used the Niger as a path to expose the film’s stakes, with some archive footage and movie shots. The title sequence is like a long shot captured by an army drone, and it ends with an explosion caused by this drone.
