A very understated yet elegant typographic opening sequence for this period series about Marie de Royan, confidante to Queen Anne of Austria during the reign of young Louis XIII in 17th-century France. The idea behind the credits was to remain very subtle, blending in with the softness of the series’ shots, featuring warm, muted lighting and delicately nuanced pastel tones. The title was created using India ink and then animated in After Effects
